What's coming
Here's what we've just added and what we're working on next. Plans can change as we hear from trades, so nothing here is a promise of a date.
Just added
Live now๐ฌ Setup videos
Eight short videos, one step each, so you're set up in about 5 minutes. Watch them here, or find them any time under Help in the app.
โ Builder confirmations
When a builder approves or declines a quote or variation, they get a confirmation email with a link to the PDF for the insurer.
๐ฌ Job room
A message thread for each job, shared with the builder through the quote link. Paused for now while we bring more trades on board. Prices stay in quotes and variations, not the chat.
โฐ Follow-up reminders
If a builder hasn't answered a quote or variation, QuoteMat sends them a polite reminder after 1 day, and one more 2 days later, between 7am and 5pm. Never more than two. Switch it on or off in Menu โ Alerts.
๐ฃ Tell your supervisor
A ready-made email from you to your builder's supervisor, so they know your quotes now come through QuoteMat.
๐ฅ Team accounts
Add admins and staff. Staff build quotes without seeing your buy prices, and nothing goes to the builder until you've checked it.
๐ฅ POs by email
Forward builders' PO emails to your own QuoteMat address and they're read and waiting for you to check.
Coming next
In progress๐ Builder portal connections
QuoteMat links straight into builders' job portals, so purchase orders come in by themselves and your quotes, variations and invoices go back the same way. No more retyping into each builder's system.
๐ท Photos and files in the job room
Share site photos and documents with the builder in the job conversation.
๐ฑ Text message alerts
Get a text when a builder approves a quote or writes in the job room.
Later
Planned๐ Job scheduling
Book approved jobs into a simple calendar for you and your team.
๐งพ MYOB invoice sync
Send invoices straight to MYOB, the same way they can go to Xero.
๐ Homeowner updates
Optional updates for the homeowner on when work is booked and finished.
